3rd assignment

Assignment #3: Quality of Light

Shoot 200 images shot at different ISOs and try different White Balance. Take at least 25 images in RAW.

The assignment is an opportunity for you to consider light. You can choose a subject that is affected by light or your pictures may explore light. Photographers often talk about the magical time during dawn and dusk as being the best time to photograph but there are also times when harsh noon light makes sense for your subject.
Think about the following lighting situations:
Reflected/absorbed
Soft/harsh
Bright/diffused
Interior light
Sunny midday/ overcast midday
Dawn/ dusk
Early morning/ late afternoon
Light in the fog or rain
Textures and abstractions made by light
Back-lit/side-lit
Silhouette

If you are shooting in a low light situation be sure to stabilize your camera using a tripod or change the ISO in your camera. It helps to spend time looking and photographing all through the day and give yourself plenty of time to photograph in case weather is a factor in your subject.

TRY NOT TO USE FLASH TOO MUCH
